2020 was a year full of unprecedented challenges and rough seas for the intersex community in Europe and worldwide. Covid-19 has impacted strongly on most people’s lives. All vulnerable and marginalized parts of the population, including but certainly not limited to intersex people, have been among those that have been hit hardest. If there is good news in this crisis, then that the resilience and the strength of the intersex community can count as such.
Despite all the challenges we faced in 2020, we managed to continue our advocacy work for intersex people’s human rights. We are still here and we will continue to grow as an organisation and advocate for the protection of the human rights of intersex people across Europe.
