On October 16 2025, OII Europe and the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Regional Office for Europe (OHCHR Europe) co-hosted an online webinar to present the OHCHR report on intersex persons published in September.
The landmark report entitled Discriminatory laws and policies, acts of violence and harmful practices against intersex persons was called for by the first-ever UN Human Rights Council resolution on the rights of intersex persons from April 4, 2024.
The webinar featured a presentation of the report by the OHCHR, as well as insights from the European Fundamental Rights Agency and OII Europe.
